Pskov News: representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation visited Titan-Polymer plant

Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation visited the Titan-Polymer plant on April 5 during their visit to the special economic zone "Moglino". As Pskov News was informed by the plant's press service, the company's guests headed by Roman Chekushov, Director of the Department for International Cooperation and Licensing in Foreign Trade of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, met with the management of Titan Group of Companies and Titan-Polymer plant and were introduced to the BOPET film production process.

During the business meeting the guests were introduced to the plant operation and the range of products produced. The first batches of the film have already been received. Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade were interested in the difficulties of working with foreign specialists, how the purchase of equipment for the second phase of the project will be arranged and how the product sales will be organized.

General Director of GC Titan Olga Tarasenko noted that the works at the plant are performed with minimal participation of foreign specialists. Now the employees are being trained directly at the plant. Sales of the products are expected both in the domestic and in foreign markets, including friendly countries.

Kirill Neretin, Director General of Titan-Polymer plant, conducted an excursion around the production site. The guests were able to see with their own eyes the production process, visited the areas of BOPET film production, cutting areas, metallization zone, and got acquainted with the work of the factory laboratory.

It should be added that the two-day program of the visit of Roman Chekushov, Director of the Department of international cooperation and licensing in the field of foreign trade of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation includes visits to a number of industrial exporting enterprises in Pskov and Pskov region, working meetings with representatives of regional authorities and the Pskov region Export Support Center.
