Center of Business Information: More than 80 employees of Titan-Polymer plant upgraded their qualifications and undergone additional training

Over 80 employees of the Titan-Polymer plant were able to upgrade their qualifications or undergo additional training in the first half of 2023. These services are provided by the SEMS training centre.

The top three most in-demand areas included such areas as "Working with machine tools and control panels from the floor" (26 people), "Slinger" (19 people), "Working with pressure vessels" (15 people).

Employees of the plant were also trained in high-rise work, learnt the profession of a forklift driver, underwent fire safety training, as well as advanced training in industrial safety and ecology. In addition, 18 people were trained in first aid skills.

The co-operation between ANO Training Center SEMS and Titan-Polymer began in 2020. The training centre applies part-time distant teaching with the use of Internet technologies. This is a modern way of gaining knowledge without compromising the production process. This form of training became especially popular after the quarantine measures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, when educational institutions switched to distance teaching. Practical classes, if they are included in the curriculum, are held in person at the Training Center.

Titan-Polymer is one of the largest customers of educational services of the Training Center in the Pskov region. Over the last two years the number of requests for training of workers in the following specialties has increased: hoisting machine operator, slinger, personnel working with pressure vessels. The increase in demand for these specialities indicates an increase in the number of jobs for the residents of the city and the region and the development of the enterprise. Titan-Polymer plant is a reliable partner, during the whole period of co-operation it has faithfully fulfilled its obligations under the contract.
