Ministry of Industry of Omsk region: The AO GC Titan has equipped a more environmentally friendly isopropyl alcohol filling system

The AO “Omsky kauchuk” (a part of the AO GC Titan) has completed the installation of the closed-type system for isopropyl alcohol filling. The modern domestic equipment that meets all industrial safety requirements has been installed.

An automated three units complex for rail tank cars and containers shipment has been installed at the shipping area.

“The closed filling system is more environmentally friendly: the new equipment with vapor outlet allows excluding waste which means that the product will not pollute the environment. It also improves working conditions for employees engaged in filling operations,” as it was explained at the plant.

The filling control system consists of an electronic equipment set and software. It allows you to control filling from an automated workstation at a computer. Besides, the complex is equipped with a flow measuring device in order to automatically calculate the mass of the filled product.

The automated complex was installed by representatives of a subcontractor; electricians and testing engineers were engaged in the installation of the system.

We should recall that previously the closed-type system for high-octane products filling including methyl tert-butyl ether was implemented. A similar system was installed within the framework of the project for technical re-equipment of phenol and acetone production.
