Ecology.Russia.24: GC Titan will support an environmental festival

The festival for Omsk environmental activists was announced at the past All-Russian Ecoday. The organizer of the event in Omsk was Tatyana Masterskikh, a journalist and author of the informational and educational project "Nachistotu".

At the All-Russian Eco-meeting the participants discussed the role of women in environmental protection and how they represent ecology in Russia and in the world. They presented their ecological projects. According to the author's idea, the ecofestival will be a platform for the presentation of ready-made cases to solve certain problems in the environmental industry and will be timed to coincide with the Day of Environmental Education.

"The time has come for new environmental activists in the region - real environmental leaders. These are people who can talk about environmental issues in a consistent and reasonable way. They are able not only to find a dialogue with the authorities and business, but also to implement environmental initiatives, - said Olga Strelkova, editor-in-chief of the branch federal publication "Ecology of Russia". - We plan to hold a number of strategic sessions in the regions, which will allow us to support relevant environmental projects and find environmental leaders.

As a positive example of environmental initiatives of enterprises, the expert noted the project "Eco-Saturday", which is implemented with the support of the Group of Companies "Titan". "Eco-Saturday" includes activities on environmental education, the formation of eco-behaviors and the creation of eco-spaces.

"The holding of ecological strategic sessions is also necessary for a constructive dialogue between the public, industrialists, the media and the authorities. This will allow to develop specific solutions, take into account the views of all stakeholders, - says Alina Rybina, Deputy Director General for Corporate Communications of Titan Group of Companies. - Today enterprises become a platform for development of ecological culture, they initiate thematic projects, for example, "Eco-Saturday," and the upcoming environmental festival will demonstrate eco-initiatives that make a tangible contribution to the ecology of the region.
