Mikhail Sutyaginsky advanced such initiative at the ''Army – 2021'' forum
On August 23, the conference ''MIC Diversification in the interests of large private companies (financing, competencies, new markets)'' was held within the framework of the International Forum ''Army - 2021''. The Chemical Industry Committee of “Delovaya Rossiya” was represented at the event by Chairman of the Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the AO Group of companies Titan Mikhail Sutyaginsky.
Chairman of the Committee on Investment Policy, Development Institutions and Export Support of Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Chairman of the Board of the non-profit partnership ''National Direct Investment Agency'' Igor Vdovin moderated the event. The conference was attended by State Duma Deputy Denis Kravchenko, PJSC Promsvyazbank Vice – President Vladimir Pechenkin, other representatives of large private companies.
During the meeting, the participants discussed mechanisms of state promotion for large private companies to implement joint investment projects with MIC enterprises, forms of interaction between private business and MIC, questions related to high – tech production development taking into account the potential of the MIC enterprises within import substitution projects of Russian companies.
Mikhail Sutyaginsky suggested to place microfluid and flowing technologies equipment production at the Military-Industrial Complex enterprises. Starting up such a project will contribute to products diversification of military enterprises and development of low tonnage chemicals in Russia.
''In July of this year, in Omsk we held a scientific and practical conference where we made up a list of pulling projects concerning low tonnage chemistry. We propose to turn over such a strategic direction as microfluidics and flowing technologies to the MIC introduction including equipment development for this direction, using existing capacities. Startup of such a project at the MIC enterprises will allow to achieve a high – quality result with respect to the existing operating experience of the military enterprises with composite materials,'' Mikhail Sutyaginsky said.
Modern microreactors allow taking control over reactions more accurately and save production recourses, decreasing environmental impact. Products made using microfluids technologies can also be used to prevent and treat infections, including COVID – 19.
''Today, together with Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia we are working on the list of pulling projects in the field of low tonnage chemistry. We are ready to work out opportunities for cooperation with the MIC enterprises in order to establish unified rules of the ‘’game” acceptable for each party. Moreover, the Chemical Industry Committee experts, who participated in the formation of the list of low tonnage chemistry projects, are able also to develop required technical conditions and tasks for microfluidics equipment production at the MIC enterprises,’’ Mikhail Sutyaginsky added.
