The new compressor unit will allow to optimize the discharge of butane and butane-butylene fraction from cistern wagons.
The main part of the equipment has already been shipped by a manufacturer to the AO “Omsky kauchuk” plant (a part of the AO GC Titan).
The unit is an automated technological module produced domestically. Using this module will speed up the discharge of gases from tank cars, reduce raw material losses due to the complete selection of gas residues. It will also improve working conditions for the employees involved in discharging operations.
“The unit allows to condense gases produced while squeezing products out of tanks and turning them back into liquid eliminating vapor formation. While discharging we will stop using nitrogen and decrease its flowrate. We can save our resources this way,” as it was explained in the workshop for receiving, storing and shipping the AO “Omsky kauchuk” raw materials and market products.
Project works were started at the plant site in July of this year. Earlier, two similar propylene and propane-propylene fraction drainage modules with a capacity of 180 m3/hour had already been installed at the plant site, and they proved to be highly environmentally efficient.
