AiF.Omsk: Brazilian player joins Omsk basketball team

At the presentation of Neftyanik-Titan the team’s composition for the new season was revealed. The name of the first foreign player in the history of Omsk basketball was also announced – an American basketball player Tyler C. Scaife.

“During her career she has taken part in championships in Brazil, Luxembourg and Spain. She spent last season at Gran Canaria in Spain. In 2019 she became a champion of Brazil playing for Sampaio Basquete,” as it was reported in the team.

On September 30 Neftyanik-Titan plays against Sparta&K (Moscow region). In Omsk in Ivan Dvorny Sports Complex will be held a match within the 1/8 finals of the Cup of Russia.

The Omsk team is one of the oldest teams in Siberia and Far East (founded in 1965), and part of the Team Sports Center. The team changed its name to Neftyanik in 1970. GC Titan became a general partner of the team in 2023. The team is now called Neftyanik-Titan.
