Vadim Shumkov and Mikhail Sutyaginsky discussed prospects of the region development

Vadim Shumkov, Governor designate of Kurgan region invited Mikhail Sutyaginsky, head of the GC «Titan», member of the General Council of «Delovaya Rossiya» to the region as an expert in order to discuss opportunities for development of enterprises of Kurgan region and interregional development.

Mikhail Sutyaginsky is the founder of the Group of Companies «Titan», which celebrate its 30th anniversary this year. Since its founding, the company gained extensive experience in industrial projects in Russia and abroad including with involvement of development institutions and state support mechanisms.

«There are preferences established in the region which an investor can enjoy when he starts a new production independently or jointly with enterprises operating in Kurgan region, — told Vadim Shumkov. — Exemptions on profit tax, land tax and property tax are effective in priority social and economic development areas «Vargashi», «Dalmatovo», «Kataysk». Creation of industrial parks in those areas is planned which will make it possible for an investor to get a land plot with ready-for-service infrastructure. He emphasized that an industrial park had already been arranged in the region and creation of new special areas for setting up of manufacturing, including special economic zone, had been planned.

Mikhail Sutyaginsky told about specifics of operation of the GC «Titan»: «All investment projects of Titan are aimed not only at profit earning and boosting of production but also at active participation in implementation of social-economic policy of the regions, — told the expert. — Distinctive feature of our approach is that we follow the path of clustering straight-away and build the production chain. Therefore, manufacturing of one type of products becomes raw material for the other. Such an approach enables to manufacture a wide range of products in one industrial area, thus increasing the share of gross regional product».

Vadim Shumkov and Mikhail Sutyaginsky discussed the opportunities of cooperation between The GC «Titan» and industrial enterprises of the region, including participation of Omsk company in development and implementation of industrial projects in Kurgan region.

Participants of the meeting agreed to continue their dialogue and the head of the Group of Companies «Titan» will visit the region once again for a better acquaintance with enterprises of Kurgan region.
