The lubricant production plant of the GC Titan has set up a complete cycle production line

Within manufacturing modernization at the separate subdivision of the lubricant production plant in Alexino (included in the GC Titan) a new full-cycle filling line has been installed, which allows filling products with low and high viscosity into PET containers of 0.1 to 5 liters.

The new line was custom manufactured and completed for the enterprise. It combines three types of automatic equipment: dispenser, capping and labeling machines. The line is controlled with the help of a touch panel.

For maximum accuracy by filling small-capacity containers (0.1 - 0.3 l), dosing is made by means of piston dispensers, and by using larger containers - with counting mechanisms.

“The piston dispenser design applies the principle of volumetric dosing, it means that the amount of material depends on the geometry and stroke of the piston. The product feed system dispenses liquid until it is filled,” Chief Technology Officer of the separate subdivision in Alexino, Samiula Minnibaev explained. “Thus, the dispenser is a high-precision system that allows to avoid product overfilling and underfilling.”

The line is also equipped with an automatic screw cap closing machine, which twists plugs and hand sprayers with the diameter of 28 and 38 mm.

After the caps being screwed on, the products are fed to the automated labeling line with a wrapper. After that, the containers go to the dispensing desk-receiver for corrugated packaging or, if necessary, follow to a packaging unit for shrink film wrapping.

“The launch of this production line will allow to increase significantly the capacity of the enterprise. First of all, we plan to start filling of our own branded all-season screenwash fluid AUTOEXPRESS into four-liter PET containers,” summed up Samiula Minnibaev.
