The Group of Companies «Titan» shared the practices of ecological partnership at Russian Investment Forum 2019

Russian Investment Forum takes place in Sochi under the aegis of Dmitry Medvedyev, Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation. During the Forum Mikhail Sutyaginsky, head of the Group of Companies «Titan» spoke at panel session and round table as well as signed an Agreement of ecological partnership with the Administration of Pskov region.

Panel session «Industrial clusters. How to improve investment appeal of the regions» was the first event of the agenda of the Chairman of the Board of the Group of Companies «Titan», where Mikhail Sutyaginsky noted the need for support of non-resource export in the context of industrial clusters development.

Also during the first day of RIF-2019 Mikhail Sutyaginsky and Mikhail Vedernikov, Governor of Pskov region signed an Agreement on ecological partnership. Pursuant to the act the parties agreed to cooperate in terms of ecological aspects of the implementation of «Titan-Polymer» project. In particular, the enterprise undertakes to choose the technologies complying with the latest requirements in the field of environment and nature protection and, if needed, to provide access to representatives of the Administration for ecological monitoring.

«Having many years' experience of implementation of investment projects I can assure that «Titan-Polymer» project will be executed using best available technologies making it possible to use low class of effect on the environment at the first stage — manufacturing of BOPET-film. Sanitary protection zone will be 100 meters. PETF production project will also comply with state-of-the-art world standards and its sanitary protection zone will be 500 meters. There is nothing to worry about for residents of Pskov region», noted Mikhail Sutyaginsky signing the Agreement.

It shall be noted that today, on the second day of the Forum, Mikhail Sutyaginsky will take part in round table discussion «Chemistry into life» where he will tell about his experience of ecological partnership and about models of efficient cooperation between industrial enterprises, including the Group of Companies «Titan», and the region. Thus, the Group of Companies «Titan» implements new investment projects as well as puts forward modernization of existing production facilities which will enable to improve ecological conditions in Omsk region and to solve the problems set forth under National Project «Ecology». Besides the company carries out educative activities in the field of environment protection — tours to production facilities and topic-specific lectures for students of educational institutions of the region.

It should be added that today Mikhail Sutyaginsky will hold other meetings with heads of legislative and executive bodies and representatives of financial and scientific institutions and business community.
