The AO GC Titan has summarized its export activity in 2021. The total volume of petrochemical products sold abroad has increased by more than 20% compared to 2020 and the product range now includes one more strategic product.

The AO GC Titan is one of the key industrial exporters of Omsk region. We should recall that the Titan-Inter-Trade, LLC has been responsible for selling Titan’s petrochemicals abroad since 2015. According to data provided by the company, the number of LPG and MTBE shipments significantly increased in 2021.  

For instance, every third ton of MTBE received by the AO “Omsky kauchuk” plant (part of the AO GC Titan) was processed outside of Russia. A-grade high-octane phenol also turned out to be in demand abroad. Its export volume has tripled compared to 2020.

Synthetic rubber, acetone and other products were also shipped to foreign countries in 2021. Isopropyl alcohol is a new product successfully introduced to the foreign market by the Titan-Inter-Trade, LLC in 2021. More than 7 thousand tons of isopropanol were shipped during the year. Turkey, Poland, Egypt, Brazil and other countries of Latin America are among the major consumers.

We should note that in 2021 manufacturers from Russia supplied 13 300 tons of isopropanol abroad according to Federal Customs Service. Thus, the AO GC Titan became the largest exporter of this product. On the domestic market, the company's products were able to replace about half the volume of imports.
