Pskov will become a personnel training platform for the petrochemical industry

Pskov enterprise of the Group of Companies “Titan” and Pskov State University signed a cooperation agreement.

The strategic document was signed by German Petrushko, General Director General “Titan-Polymer” LLC and Natalia Ilyina, Acting Rector of Pskov State University.

“We highly appreciate the significance of the agreement which has been signed today. This is an indicator of our serious intentions in Pskov region. Let me remind you that “Titan-Polymer” plant will organize about 500 jobs. We are interested in local personnel and place emphasis on them,” commented German Petrushko.

According to the agreement, the parties will cooperate in the field of education, science, development and implementation of professional educational programs. In particular, “Titan-Polymer” and Pskov State University will start to train highly qualified specialists in the field of industrial production, conduct scientific studies, combining the efforts of the education system, science and business structures. The company will accept students from the flagship Pskov university for practical training or internship, and in the future Pskov inhabitants who have completed target-oriented training will be employed by “Titan-Polymer”. The employees of Pskov enterprise of the Group of Companies GC "Titan" will also be able to join the state attestation commission of the university. The next step will include the work within the framework of the start and development of the new educational program “Chemical Technologies” majoring in “Energy and Resource Saving Processes in Chemical Technology, Petrochemistry and Biotechnology”, of which “Titan-Polymer” LLC is a partner.

As German Petrushko noted, the introduction of the new educational program will benefit not only the enterprise, but Pskov region as well. The region will obtain new specialists and general level of chemistry educational programs will be increased.
