The modernization of process equipment aimed at increasing product quality and reducing impact caused by the enterprise on the environment due to deeper purification of raw materials is in progress at industrial facilities of «Poliom», Ltd. The company disagrees with qualification of the performed works by the Siberian Division of Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia (Rostekhnadzor) as construction of a new facility. According to assessment provided by legal department of the company there are no grounds for suspension of the enterprise's activity. «Poliom», Ltd. ensures full compliance with industrial safety regulations and has positive safety report on industrial safety issued by Rostekhnadzor-licenses organization and covering all plant facilities.

Since 2016, «Poliom», Ltd. has been implementing a comprehensive program aimed at improving environmental friendliness of production facilities and resource saving. Due to introduced arrangements more than 70% of gas containing propylene, which has been earlier flared, returns to production process every month. Investments into environment protection, occupational health and industrial safety exceeded 230 million. rubles in 2016-2018.
