Omsk petrochemists celebrate their professional holiday

On the eve of the Chemist's Day, which is celebrated on the last Sunday of May, the traditional celebrations dedicated to the professional holiday are held at the enterprises of the Group of Companies «Titan».

In honor of the Chemist's Day and excellent work for the benefit of the company and the region, more than 300 employees of the enterprises of the Group of Companies «Titan» and Omsk Polypropylene Plant were awarded departmental and corporate awards at various levels.

A series of award ceremonies started with a festive event at Omsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts named after M.A. Vrubel, which is a long-standing social partner of the Group of Companies «Titan». At this cultural institution, corporate awards, Certificates of Honor of the Omsk City Council and Letters of Appreciation of the Chairman of the City Council, as well as Certificates of Appreciation of the Omsk Autonomous Okrug Administration were presented.

On behalf of Mikhail Sutyaginsky, head of the «Group of Companies «Titan» JSC and on behalf of himself personally, Yan Kirsanov, General Director of the «Group of Companies «Titan» JSC congratulated the winners. The executive recalled that this Chemist’s Day is special for the Group of Companies «Titan», since the Group of Companies celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2019.

At the Regional Youth Center «Khimik», a concert program was prepared for petrochemists and production veterans. In addition, before the start of the celebration, they will be able to see a series of photos «Images of Titan», as well as listen to the festive release of the radio newspaper. Representatives of the Government of Omsk region and Omsk City Administration, who will present departmental awards to distinguished employees, will become honorable guests of the fest.

Traditionally, on this professional holiday, the results of the competition for the best technical innovation will be summed up and the winners of the all-round Spartakiad (sports and athletic contest) of the Group of Companies «Titan» will be awarded.

It should be added that personnel of «Poliom» (joint venture of the Group of Companies «Titan», Gazprom Neft and SIBUR) will visit one of country recreation complexes where various outside activities will be arranged for employees. And on May 22 employees of the «GC «Titan» JSC, «Poliom» and «Omsk kauchuk» plants were awarded with Letters of Appreciation of the Administration of Omsk region in the city hall.
