NZSM optimized the product shipment process

Novocherkassk Lubricant Production Plant continues the improvement of internal procurement system. The enterprise purchased Russian-made mobile loading ramp to optimize material handling for the basic production.

The new mobile loading ramp is 12m long and has load-carrying capacity 10 tons, being suitable for all types of transport means, safe and easy to manage. The deck of the ramp is made from endurable and corrosion resistant expanded steel sheet. The ramp is equipped with hydraulic system which enables to set it for the height from 90m to 170m. Chains and holding brakes are used for secure immobilization of the device.

«The mobile loading ramp is an alternative to fixed access ramps. The ramp helps perform a wide range of works by means of a forklift loader and enhance labor productivity. «4 stevedores and one mechanical loader took part in loading carriages railway before, and now only one workman and one mechanical loader is involved in the same works. Due to its mobility new loading ramp can be used for loading and unloading of motor vehicles and freight containers», — told Sergey Popov, Chief Engineer of the enterprise.

To improve maneuvering ability of mechanical loader, the enterprise also purchased and installed a special 3 m long loading bridge.

NZSM provides a top level of service for its partners. Products of the enterprise is presented at distribution warehouses in Siberian, Central, Southern Federal Districts as well as is sold in Northwestern and Ural Federal Districts and is supplied to six states of the near abroad.
