NZSM increases quality of logistic service

Novocherkassk Lubricant Production Plant forming a part of the Group of Companies «Titan» purchases equipment for optimization of internal logistics in a stepwise manner. Italian pallet packer Simply MB was the last acquisition.

Semi-automated pallet packer purchased by NZSM successfully completed the first month of active operation. It is intended for fastening of large objects on the pallet and its further wrapping into stretch film. The machine is equipped with control panel.

Igor Kostyuk, General Director of NZSM LLC told that decision on purchase of the pallet packer was made following the results of consumer preference analysis in order to improve marketable condition of the products and to reduce the risk of damage to the packaging during transportation. «Key advantage of the machine as compared to the way of packing used before is higher speed of packing, improved stretching properties of packaging and its appearance as, well as saving of the film due to its better tension», — explained the manager.

The new pallet packer is not only convenient but also eco-friendly purchase which allowed to decrease film consumption by a quarter. Wastes of packing materials decreased respectively as well.

It should be added that optimization of logistics is carried out stage by stage. Automated canning line was purchased and installed about a year ago. The equipment was manufactured in Russia by machine-building plant «Profitex» (Pyatigorsk). Working capacity of the line depends on type of packaging.

Novocherkassk Lubricant Production Plant will continue planned optimization of production processes.
