Mikhail Sutyaginsky spoke at the meeting of the President of Russia with entrepreneurs

Meeting of entrepreneurs with Vladimir Putin took place on February 6 as part of the forum «Role of business in achievement of national development objectives», arranged by All-Russian Public Organization «Delovaya Rossiya». Mikhail Sutyaginsky , head of the Group of Companies «Titan», member of General Council of «Delovaya Rossiya» took part in the event.

Measures on encouragement of business to attain the national development objectives were discussed during the meeting. Mikhail Sutyaginsky, Chairman of the Delovaya Rossiya's Committee on Chemical Industry, Biotechnology and New Materials represented the interests of petrochemical industry.

«We support the course for export chosen by you, Vladimir Vladimirovich. However, it is important for us that export of products with added value is supported», noted Mikhail Sutyaginsky.

He noted efficiency of existing tools of support of non-resource export, having placed greater emphasis on cooperation with Industry Development Fund, however, according to his opinion, this was insufficient. Mikhail Sutyaginsky reported to the President that launching of phenol production facility with support of IDF is planned in Omsk region after which the next stages of raw materials processing will be implemented, which will enable to develop new markets and much more. «This means both new workplace and taxes. We would like to see focus on advanced refining of raw materials in the country», emphasized the founder of the Group of Companies «Titan».

«The higher is processing level the stronger is connection with other industries and the more workplaces are created», commented Vladimir Putin of the Sutyaginsky's speech. «For one created workplace in tourism 4-5 new workplaces are created in related industries, and in your case the number of newly created workplaces must be even greater».

During the dialogue with the head of the Group of Companies «Titan» the President expressed readiness to consider the proposals on improvement of existing measures of support of non-resource industrial export «in order to go whole figure».

Let's remind the Mikhail Sutyaginsky has already talked to the President of Russia in 2015 during XIX Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum. Also the head of the Group of Companies «Titan» took part in «Live Phone-in with Vladimir Putin» in 2018.

Mikhail Sutyaginsky is the founder of the Group of Companies «Titan», deputy of the 5th State Duma of the Russian Federation. Large-scale investment projects are implemented on his initiative in Omsk region and beyond. One of his most successful projects is incorporation of polypropylene production enterprise («Poliom» Ltd.) — the first in the region greenfield project implemented in post-Soviet time. Today the plant makes for top three largest polypropylene manufacturers in Russia and top five taxpayers in the region in 2018.
