Mikhail Sutyaginsky made a point of Pskov region's prospects in small and medium business development

On June 29, an extended meeting of the regional branch of Delovaya Rossiya was held in Pskov, where Mikhail Sutyaginsky rated the region's prospects in small and medium business development high, and also expressed willingness to cooperate in solving significant problems.   

Stas Osovsky, the new head of the regional branch, was introduced at the event, he presented the main areas of work in Pskov region for the next two years.

Mikhail Sutyaginsky, a member of the Coordination Council, Chairman of the Committee for the Chemical Industry of Delovaya Rossiya, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the AO GC Titan, noted the importance of the region's active involvement in the work of Delovaya Rossiya:

- Cooperation within business community will open up new development opportunities for businesses and new resources for the region to develop its economy. We already have successful experience of cooperation with representatives of the business community in different regions as part of the work of Delovaya Rossiya Committee for the Chemical Industry. Forming the industry community on this platform will ensure the solution of systemic issues, drawing the authorities’ attention to the problems of the industry.

Mikhail Sutyaginsky also mentioned the project “Titan-Polymer”, which is ready to cooperate in solving a number of issues, will gladly join the work of Pskov branch.

Nonna Kagramanyan, Vice President and Head of the Executive Committee of Delovaya Rossiya, noted the importance of supporting the new direction by representatives of large business, such as Group of companies Titan.

- It’s important that the Head of AO GC Titan, Chairman of the Committee for the Chemical Industry of Delovaya Rossiya Mikhail Sutyaginsky, the business leader in the region, is a tutor in the regional branch and supports this work. I think this synergy is useful for development of the regional branch.” Vice President emphasized.

It’s worth noting that the Group of companies Titan is actively implementing its investment projects, as well as socially important ones on the territory of Pskov region. Taras Antal, Pro-rector for Research of Pskov State University, spoke about it at the event.

- Now we are interacting with the GC Titan and are carrying out various environmental projects on the basis of Pskov State University. This is a very important area that needs certain support. From our point of view, it is necessary to create a structure that would organize the interaction activities between business and scientific and educational institutions of Pskov region. In this regard, the Group of Companies Titan and Pskov State University propose to create a regional scientific and educational center that would coordinate activity of the projects, providing them with information, media and expert support.

Aleksey Obukhov, a member of Delovaya Rossiya Committee for the Chemical Industry, Deputy General Director for Legal Affairs of the AO GC Titan, supported the topic of developing environmental projects.

He noted that the AO GC Titan has accumulated great experience in this area. For example, the company has presented a project to implement the Eco-standard, and is ready to work together with the enterprises of Pskov region in this direction in order to ensure high results in the field of environmental activities.
