Infrastructure of AO “Omsky kauchuk” will be revamped

New boiler units have been installed on the combined heat and power stations of AO “Omsky kauchuk” (part of AO GC Titan). They will supply heating to the current workshops and other facilities of AO GC Titan during winter. Thanks to the increased capacity, their performance in the future will also be sufficient for the needs of future production facilities.

The former boiler units were commissioned in 2004 and have reached the end of their service life. In 2022, an investment project was implemented at the plant to install new units. Timely replacement of equipment has significantly increased the efficiency of the combined heat and power station.

“Previously, four steam injection units were in operation at the site. They have now been replaced by three much more powerful units. Reserve capacities are planned with the expectation of construction and modernization of production facilities in the future,” representatives of the combined heat and power station said.

Now, by increasing the diameter of the pipes and the units themselves, the capacity of each unit has increased by 1.5-2 times.

It should be added that the new boiler units are produced by a domestic company from Chelyabinsk.
