Group of companies Titan became a leader in information openness”

On December 9 the first awarding of the industry award "Business Index of the Chemical Complex" took place in Moscow. This award was established by Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia in 2020. The Group of companies Titan win the nomination “For information openness”. Alina Rybina, Deputy General Director for Corporate Communications of the AO GC Titan, received the award on behalf of the company.

The aim of the award is identification and stimulation of the best initiatives, which are directed on the petrochemical complex of Russian Federation development. It is the first such award, established by Ministry of Industry and Trade. There are seven nominations in total: “Best Environmental Project of the Year”, “Best Digital Implementation”, “Innovative Breakthrough of the Year”, “For information openness”, “Investing in People”, “Exporter of the Year” and “Leader of Import Substitution”.

More than 200 entries applied – Russian chemical industry enterprises, profile associations, scientific-technical companies and universities. 115 projects were admitted to participate in the competition program.

Every project was reviewed by the authoritative jury of the award, which, in particular, included Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Mikhail Ivanov, President of the Russian Union of Chemists Viktor Ivanov, Rector of the Russian Chemical Technical University named after Mendeleeva Alexander Madzhuga and chief editor of the magazine "Chemical Industry Today" Daria Yartseva. 35 finalists were selected in accordance with the results of the first round – there are five best projects in every nomination. There were key companies of the industrial sector, including such as PJSC “SIBUR Holding”, JSC “UCC URALCHEM”, Association of Enterprises “Europlast”, PJSC “Akron”, JSC “MCC EuroChem”, PJSC “Uralkali”, JSC “HaloPolymer”, JSC “Russkiye Kraski”, KAO “Azo” and many others among awardee and winners.

Experts decided winners in each of the five during the second round, and on December 9 they were announced at the award ceremony within the framework of the industry forum “Chemical Industry in Details”. The project “Information center” of the Group of companies Titan was awarded by the highest assessment of the experts in the field of information openness.

Information center began it work in October 2019. Its basic aim is become a single official information channel of the company by use of different resources: national projects, video-programs, social nets, corporate mass-media and cooperation with journalists and press-services of different departments.

“Thank you for the recognition of our rather big merits. One year ago we opened our Information center in social nets and I invite you to join us now, to add as a friend, we have a lot of interesting,” Alina Rybina noted. “One of such breaks we are proud of is a program named “Useful chemistry”. Educational films are shot by our guys, who works at the AO “Omsky kauchuk” plant. Thanks to our colleges from mass-media for teaching us work right, be open to the audience and do not afraid to do that.”

In 2020 Information center posted more than 700 messages only in social nets and 40 of them are videos. For the current year the press-service registered about five thousand mentions of the company in the media space and more than a half of them were initiated by Information center. As a result of the project implementation, the number of subscribers in communities and their interest in content increased, the number of requests from regional and federal media increased. The Group of companies Titan also actively organizes and takes part in profile events, in many of which the experts of the GC Titan in the areas become speakers.
