GC Titan presented the project “Eco-Saturday” at an international scientific and practical conference in Yaroslavl

Representatives of the Group talked about the tasks and goals of such environmental projects as "Eco-Saturday" and the search for a balance between man and ecology in Yaroslavl, where the first international scientific and practical conference "Environmental Engineering" was held. The main theme of the event was improving the environmental safety of industrial facilities.

The participants of the conference were industrialists, representatives of public authorities, big business, scientific associations, the agencies in charge of environmental protection activities.

During the discussion "Environmental Priorities of Russia in the Age of Changes: Role of the State, Business Opportunities and Public Needs", Deputy Head of Information Policy Department of GC Titan, member of the Scientific and Technical Council "Air Protection" of Rospotrebnadzor, Nikita Telezhinsky presented a report on infrastructure development in the regions where GC Titan operates within the framework of the project "Eco-Saturday".

The project "Eco-Saturday" is aimed at finding a balance between the needs of society and ecology, as well as the challenges that territories face and business opportunities. It is aimed at implementing the policy of sustainable development in the regions where GC Titan operates, which in the long term includes the creation of eco-spaces. We are already conducting environmental awareness activities, and we are getting feedback. This confirms the importance of a constructive dialogue between the residents of the area, the authorities and business.

The project "Eco-Saturday" was highly appreciated by the scientific and business communities.

We should add that on the first day of the event there was a visiting session of the section "Atmospheric Air Protection" of the Scientific and Technical Council (STC) of Rosprirodnadzor. This structure (STC) includes representatives of GC Titan. In addition, the company actively supports changes in the regulatory and legal acts developed and implemented for greening of industrial facilities. This time members of the STC discussed issues related to amendments to the order of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia from 15.09.2017 No. 498 "On approval of rules of operation of gas purification units", as well as consideration of new methodologies for consolidated reports and quotas for pollutant emissions.
