Fir trees have been planted at AO “Omsky kauchuk”

Landscape gardening of the plant’s territory, timed to coincide with the 60^th anniversary of AO “Omsky kauchuk”, is underway.

Today, 10 more fir trees have been planted at the industrial territory.  They were grown at the plant for further planting and now the trees will beautify the territory of the plant during the winter period. At the same time the fir trees are not only a decorative function. For example, firs produce antioxidants and clean the air. Tree planting is part of the large-scale work to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the flagship of the Omsk petrochemical industry.

Every year AO “Omsky kauchuk” pays a lot of attention to landscaping and gardening. Dozens of trees and bushes are planted at the territory and in the summer, flower gardens are created. Annual plants are grown from seed in their own greenhouses.

More than 300 trees have already been planted at the plant this year. Landscaping work at the plant will be resumed. There are plans to plant about 120 more trees, including firs, oaks, birches and mountain ashes, before winter comes.

All enterprises of AO GC Titan take part in planting events. We should remind that only this year about 100 pine and linden trees were planted on the territory of Titan-Polymer plant in Pskov. In the near future, a contractor will plant birches, conifers and shrubs there.
