Cooperation between Omsk region and Kazakhstan Republic was discussed at the GC «Titan»

The meeting of the heads of the Ministries of Omsk region and delegation of Pavlodar region consisting of representatives of public authorities and business entities headed by Bulat Bakauov, Akim of the Region took place at the Group of companies «Titan». The guests from the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed their interest in supplies of petrochemicals manufactured by the GC «Titan».

The event was held on the eve of 16th Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan which will take place on November 6-7 in Omsk. Dmitri Ushakov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Omsk region, Andrey Posazhennikov, Minister of Industry of the region and Denis Kushner, Deputy Minister of Economy were among the participants of the meeting.

The meeting participants inspected the industrial site of «Omsky kauchuk» plant where large-scale projects are implemented sponsored by the Industrial Development Fund of the Russian Federation.

Yan Kirsanov, General Director of the «GC «Titan» JSC presented operating industrial facilities of the company and new projects implemented by migrating to the best available technologies. During the conversation the representatives of the GC «Titan» proposed to arrange supplies of advanced products — isopropyl alcohol for the needs of manufacturers of car care products (windshield cleaner, antifreeze agent etc) — to Pavlodar. Such eco-friendly car care products based on isopropyl alcohol causes less impact on the environment and is harmless for human health.

In its turn the delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented the benefits of the special economic zone «Pavlodar», residents of which are manufacturers of alloy aluminum, petrochemicals (industrial oils, lubricants, fuel additives etc.). The Akim of Pavlodar region noted that the project of the tyre production plant construction in Pavlodar was under consideration at that moment and the region needs to establish business relationship with the Group of Companies «Titan». In particular, the delegation expressed interest in supplies of synthetic rubber manufactures by «Omsky kauchuk» plant.

In conclusion of the event the participants expressed mutual opinion that the meeting was fruitful and mapped out future cooperation and strengthening relationship between Omsk egion and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
