Committee for the Chemical Industry of “Delovaya Rossiya” proposes to organize the production of equipment at the enterprises of the military and industrial complex

The Committee for the Chemical Industry of “Delovaya Rossiya” proposes to locate facilities for the production of equipment for microfluidic and continuous flow technologies at the military and industrial complex enterprises. The project startup will contribute to the diversification of products of defense enterprises and development of low-tonnage chemistry in Russia. Mikhail Sutyaginsky, Chairman of the Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the GC Titan, announced this in the course of the business program of the International Forum “Army-2021”.

“This year in July in Omsk we have held a research and training conference, where we have formulated a list of pulling off projects in the low-tonnage chemistry sphere. We propose to transfer such a strategic direction as microfluidics and continuous flow technologies under the supervision of the military and industrial complex, including the development of equipment for this area, using the existing facilities. Such project startup at the military and industrial complex enterprises will allow to achieve a high-quality result, taking into consideration existing experience of the defense enterprises operation in composite materials,” said Mikhail Sutyaginsky.

Modern microreactors allow to more accurately control reactions and save production resources, reducing burden on the environment. Products obtained by means of the microfluidic technologies can also be used for the prevention and treatment of infections, including coronavirus ones.

“At present, together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, we are working on the list of pulling off projects in the field of low-tonnage chemistry. We are ready to work at possibilities of cooperation with the military and industrial complex enterprises in order to develop the level playing field, taking into consideration interests of all parties. Besides, experts of the Committee for the Chemical Industry, having participated in the formation of the list of projects for low-tonnage chemistry, can also develop the required technical specifications and tasks connected with the production of equipment for microfluidics at the military and industrial complex enterprises” added Sutyaginsky.
