AO “Omsky kauchuk” uses eco-lighting

The territory near the plant is illuminated with a number of sets of solar-powered LED lights.

Such a solution makes it possible not to use traditional methods of powering lanterns and leads to energy savings, as energy production has a severe impact on the environment. In its turn, solar power generation is the use of a renewable resource that is not related to a negative impact on the atmosphere.

Solar-powered lanterns have a longer service life than traditional lighting solutions because they require constant maintenance. In case of breaking down it is easy to dispose and recycle the equipment.

The new lanterns were supplied to AO “Omsky kauchuk” by a domestic company from Sergiev Posad, near Moscow. Each set of standalone solar lamp SGM includes a solar power plant itself, two LED lights of different power (30 and 20 watts), fixing brackets for lighting fixtures and supporting pole. The installed equipment is capable of illuminating the road and sidewalk using only the solar power accumulated during daytime.  

If the use of the solar-powered lighting equipment proves itself well then this solution can be expanded by implementing this infrastructure in other production and office facilities of AO GC Titan.
