The company has revamped the flare. A new pull head has been installed, which is designed for safer, smokeless combustion. The system is equipped with modern monitoring and emergency shut-down systems. The flare is equipped as well with an automatic ignition device and a flame-out sensor ensuring high security level.

Flaring systems are an integral part of any modern refinery or petrochemical complex.

At the moment, a project to revamp two flares is being implemented at the Omsk Rubber Plant. Due to the improved automatic ignition system, the amount of fuel gas to be fed to pilot-flames inside the flare has been significantly reduced. Thus, using modernized facilities will reduce the amount of air emissions.
