AO GC Titan employees ordered more than 30 ideas for the production development

In July AO GC Titan began the rationalization program named “Improvements in small steps” (ISS). The program includes projects with a term of 3-6 months implementation and a cost of up to 100 thousand rubles.

14 initiative employees have already used the possibility to innovate the enterprises work. Workers, process-engineers and shop managers became authors of ideas. Six of the have been already accepted for implementation.

AO GC Titan and AO “Omsky kauchuk” plant became pilot sites of the program. AO “Omsky kauchuk” the plant employees submitted 31 applications in various areas in just two weeks: from the control systems for the devices movement during repair  to the improving water treatment in steam boilers of a thermal power plant and  application of nitrogen-containing waste gases from production to save pure nitrogen.

“We accepted six applications for implementation of the total number, also 15 of them were sent for revision,” Valentina Prilepskaya, the Deputy CEO for Business Development of AO GC Titan and the Head of the project told “All authors have already received feedback and have been awarded.”

These ideas have been registered in a Single Fund. The program includes additional perquisites. Thus, the major innovation successful implementation can guarantee the author 4% of the economic effect obtained.

“The program ISS will make its adjustments to the work of the plant and our habit to think and order various developments, connected with the enterprise work, will be appreciated,” Andrey Starcheuso, the Process Engineer of the Dienes and Olefins Production Department of AO “Omsky kauchuk” and active production innovator told “In my proposal I described how to prevent the product pipeline polymer blockage and I am so happy that the idea is going to be implemented.”

The experience gained at the launch sites will be replicated at all enterprises of AO GC Titan.
