AO GC Titan became a partner of the all-Russian event for the Day of the Chemist

On May 27 Russian Chemists Union (RCU) supported by AO GC Titan organized the information marathon via teleconference mode with the participation of all Russian chemical industrial enterprises in honor of the professional holyday.

The RCU initiative to join all chemists in the online marathon was supported by petrochemical industrial enterprises, federal and regional authorities’ representatives, public organizations, and workers of the chemical industry.

A lot of Congratulations, video presentations of enterprises, celebrations in honor of honored employees and industry veteran workers were sounded at the event in online mode, and also the flash mob #chemiststogether was held too. The eventful teleconference program allowed fully immersing in the work of large-scale petrochemical enterprises and becoming closer to domestic producers.

The action purpose was to show and note the chemical industry leading role in the country economic development and attract young specialists planned their professional growth in this industry to enterprises.

During the online event the congratulation from the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation Denis Manturov was sounded. It was read by the Director of the Department of Chemical Technology Complex and Bioengineering Technologies of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexande Orlov in online mode.

“Domestic chemical industry remains the leading positions among the processing industries and hold a special place in Russian economy,” was noted in the Minister’s speech “I empress the deep appreciation to the chemical complex employees which, despite of the difficult economic situation, ensured a 5% increase in production by the end of 2020; 12 invest projects for 18 billion rubles were successfully implemented.”

“And this motto “Chemists together!” really unites: we are not together physically but we are always together spiritually” Alexander Orlov added “Our general purpose is developing and moving forward.”

The Head of AO GC Titan, the Chairman of the Chemical Industry Committee of “Delovaya Rossiya”, and the Vice President of the RCU Mikhail Sutyaginsky noted in his speech that human resources particular importance for the chemical industry development.

“Passing the difficult time, chemists proved that they can do a lot together. The chemical industry has great purposes and its future depends on the staff training. Today the top companies pay a lot attention to this factor and the professional orientation is becoming the key area to provide the industry with those employees, which will create the world leading position, deserved by our country.”

Enterprises of the east, central and Siberian divisions delivered welcoming remarks during the teleconference.

So, Andrey Posazhennikov, the Minister of Industry, Communications, Digital and Scientific and Technological Development of Omsk region expressed a wish to congratulate the industry employees. In his speech he noted that today the large-scale invest projects on modernization, new productions establishments and environmental impact reducing are implementing actively in the region:

“Chemical industry in Omsk region has always held the key positions in Russian economy. Today we have a right to be proud – we produce every tenth automobile tire, every tenth ton of petrochemical products, every seventh tone of polypropylene, every fifth tone of the methyl tert-butyl ether, every fifth tone of the synthetic rubber and every third tone of the technical carbon.”

The General Director of AO GC Titan Farkhad Samedov joined the online mode too. He highly appreciated the new and unusual format of the celebration which allowed uniting of all-Russian chemists.

The highlight of the event was the premier of the chemists’ anthem written specially for the celebration. The anthem was sung by the AO GC Titan together with colleagues from PJSC SIBUR, JSC Sayanskhimplast, KuibyshevAzot PJSC, PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim, and UCC “SHCHEKINOAZOT”and other enterprises.
