An exhibition on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of AO “Omsky kauchuk” has been opened

An exhibition devoted to the plant development history has been opened at “Project-M” Omsk art-space. Visitors now have an access to archival records of the leading petrochemical company of the region.

The Vrubel Omsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts is the organizer of the exhibition. This is how the authors of the exhibition decided to congratulate the plant on its anniversary. The employees of AO “Omsky kauchuk” and AO GC Titan shared the most interesting documentation to create the exhibition. 

Here you can see archive pictures, photos of current managers and team, the recent photo report about modern heroes of AO “Omsky kauchuk”. You can also listen to a lecture on the past and modern days of the plant production facilities, divisions and workshops as well as learn what the production is famous for.

It was important for the authors to hear the ‘voice’ of the plant, that’s why they were focused not only on archive documentation but also on the stories of current employees and veterans of the company.

We should note that a modern photo project created by a well-known Omsk photographer Tatiana Romanenko is integrated in the exhibition.

The unique exhibition has become a present for citizens who are interested in history of the region.

Admission to the exhibition is free of charge.

Let us remind that the “Project-M” is an initiative of the Vrubel Museum implemented with the support of the V. Potanin Charitable Foundation in partnership with the Department of the Customer for the Construction of Transport Projects and Hydraulic Engineering Structures.

The art space is located in an underground passage near the Pushkin Omsk State Regional Scientific Library. This place for expressing creativity and holding art exhibition and cultural events has been around for a long time.

The exhibition about AO “Osmky kauchuk” has become a part of a big project devoted to the largest Omsk enterprises.
