470 students underwent practical training at AO "Omsky kauchuk" last academic year

As part of cooperation with Secondary Specialized Educational Institutions and Higher Education Institutions, students from Omsk vocational schools underwent practical training based at the region's largest petrochemical enterprise.

Every year, subdivisions of AO "Omsky kauchuk" accept students from the city's universities and colleges for practical training. Over the past academic year, 470 students received professional skills in the plant's process and auxiliary shops, energy service shops and plant management departments.

The company is very popular with students in secondary vocational education - last academic year more than 240 students from secondary educational institutions undertook work experience internship at the plant, while over 130 students from universities were placed for training.

The top three educational institutions that sent the most students to "Omsky kauchuk" plant were Siberian Cossack Institute of Technology and Management (141 persons), followed by the plant's social partner, Omsk Industrial and Economic College (127 persons), and the third place was taken by Omsk State Technical University (91 persons).

"Omsky Kauchuk" is a petrochemical enterprise, and therefore the majority of trainees come from the "Chemical Technology/Chemistry/Oil and Gas Engineering" field. There were the largest number of students studying in these fields in the past academic year - 87 persons. The second most popular field is "Automation of technological processes and productions", with 52 students coming for practical training. A little less - 30 trainees - were students studying in the field of “Biotechnology”.

The students with the best results during their practical training return to the company as employees in the future.
