GC Titan has become an Ambassador for the Business Social Capital Standard

As part of the business forum “Business, Government, Society: Three Forces Driving Development in the Omsk Region,” GC Titan and the autonomous non-profit organization Social Capital signed a cooperation agreement on the implementation and development of the Business Social Capital Standard. Under the terms of the agreement, GC Titan has been granted the status of Ambassador of the Standard.

The aim of the Standard is to establish a unified approach to recognizing the contribution of companies to long-term public welfare and the socio-economic development of the country. Joining the Standard will allow GC Titan to expand its systematic work on sustainable development and strengthen its responsible business strategy.

GC Titan has been actively supporting and developing social initiatives in the regions where it operates for many years. Among the projects implemented are the installation of a monument to Ivan Bukhgolts, support for the Neftyanik-Titan women's basketball team, cooperation with the M.A. Vrubel Museum of Fine Arts, and programs to support sponsored schools.

The social capital standard was developed in accordance with Presidential Decrees No. Pr-1240 of June 29, 2024, and No. Pr-1293 of June 29, 2023, “On the development, with the participation of the Bank of Russia and the autonomous non-profit organization Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects.” Its purpose is to approve requirements for the system of verification of companies' activities in the field of social capital and standards for disclosure of information on sustainable development.
