RUPEC: AO GC Titan will start production of BOPET film in the Pskov region by the end of 2022

Titan-Polymer Pskov plant (part of AO GC Titan) plans to put in operation a production facility for BOPET film with a capacity of 72 KTA on the territory of SEZ Moglino in Pskov region by the end of 2022, as it was reported by “Interfax”. 

The amount of investments in the project implementation is about 10 billion rubles. 

Previously, the BOPET film plant was planned to be put in operation in 2021.

The total BOPET film capacity production is going to be 72 KTA. As for polyethylene terephthalate the number is 210 KTA. The first phase will create a production of 35 KTA. At the second stage another film production line will be launched.

PET pellets can be processed into polyester fiber, woven and nonwoven materials, food and non-food films, sheets for further thermoforming. BOPET film is designed for the production of flexible packaging.
