Pskov region Administration Portal: Pskov State University and “Titan-Polymer” LLC signed a Cooperation Agreement.

Today, on the 10^th of December, Pskov State University and “Titan-Polymer” LLC signed a Cooperation Agreement. The document was signed by the interim Rector of Pskov State University Natalya Ilyina and the General Director of the Pskov plant “Titan-Polymer” LLC Herman Petrushko. The Agreement includes the joint training arrangement of the specialists.

For example, by own statement of Natalya Ilyina the part of the training process of the new direction specialists will begin in September 2020 and proposes the exchange education at the production, as reported by the correspondent of the Pskov Lenta Novosti.

“Today 80 universities from 40 regions are under selecting process for the possible grant within the frames of the national project “Education” of the federal project “Young professionals” for the continuous training execution in the region basic industry. It means that the region, regional administration and the key employers will determine 5 basic areas which will be financed. It is already stated that the chemical industry is subject to the investment and innovation aspect of the socio-economic development of our territory. Hence “Titan-Polymer” LLC being the lead resident of “Moglino” SEZ is the key partner for the employees training process for the Pskov Government University. Nowadays every university should be ahead of the employees training meaning that we have to guess and foresee the competencies of future graduates. Next step is that new “Chemical technologies” educational programs are licensed by Pskov Government University. According to the agreement the university forms the infrastructure and trains personnel together with “Titan-Polymer” LLC”, — Natalya Ilyina said.

She also noted that during the cooperation in addition to the new educational program it will be suggested to organize and use the scientific laboratories of the Pskov State University.

“We have done a great thing hence business can’t exist without science. Personnel requirements are very high today as they have to solve many problems so these tasks both concern today and a future. We are very happy to have found support from the Pskov State University. Quite serious and major efforts were already taken and the cooperation will certainly continue in the same format”, —German Petrushko concluded.
