Pskov Information Agency: The Titan-Polymer, LLC helped a student from an orphan boarding school learn drift

Within the framework of the “Christmas Wishing Tree” event the Titan-Polymer, LLC helped a 16-year-old Alexei Maksimov from the Krasnogorodsk orphan boarding school to make his dream come true. This was reported to the Pskov Information Agency by the company's press service.

The young man has been interested in cars for a long time. He learned his first driving skills from his uncle. In February Alexei participated in a driving master-class organized by Pskov Motorsport Federation.

Under the supervision of professional coaches the boy drove a Renault Logan racing car on the car-testing-track. Alexei wore racing uniform and helmet, studied the construction of the rally car and took part in the test drive.

“I have been taught how to hold the steering wheel correctly, and how to drive to avoid skidding. Bootlegger reverse is the maneuver that I liked the most as I had felt adrenaline,” Alexei Maksimov shared. He said buying a rally car was now his new dream.

President of Pskov Motorsport Federation Oleg Myslevich noted that the boy had excellent driving skills at least at the level of a driving school graduate.
“A young man proves by his character that he is capable of much,” Oleg Myslevich added.

General Director of the Titan-Polymer plant Herman Petrushko noted that it was important to support interests of the young generation even if it is connected with extreme sports.
“Perhaps, this master-class will provide new experience and help to choose future career. The boy may become a future champion in motorsports,” he commented.
We should recall that the “Christmas Wishing Tree” charity event for orphans has been held in Pskov region since 2019. Philanthropists include representatives of the region's executive and legislative authorities, municipalities, as well as businesses, state corporations, public organizations, and charitable foundations. The event is supported by the Charitable Foundation for Development of Pskov region "Saint Princess Olga". Titan-Polymer has already fulfilled seven wishes of Pskov children as part of the charity event.
