Ministry of Industry of Omsk region: AO “Omsky kauchuk” title products cover more than 20% of the domestic market

According to the results of the first half of 2021, the products of the AO “Omsky kauchuk” (a part of the AO Group of companies Titan) are in the top three in terms of demand among domestic manufacturers. Despite a difficult economic situation in the country, the enterprise has managed to maintain its market share compared to the last year results.

 
The AO “Omsky kauchuk” is leading in unit capacity of methyl-tret-butyl-ether (MTBE) production. The enterprise’s products cover 22% of the global MTBE market in Russia and are supplied to Leningrad, Volgograd, Moscow, Kemerovo, Khabarovsk and Perm regions.

The products of the GC Titan’s petrochemical enterprise make 26% of the domestic methylstyrene synthetic rubbers market. It is the second place compared to the other domestic manufacturers’ results. Rubber from Omsk is top requested among manufacturers of rubber products in Urals and Central Federal Districts. 
We should add that the AO “Omsky kauchuk” is among leaders in phenol sales with 24% volume in the domestic market. The products of the renewed phenol production are most in demand in Sverdlovsk, Tambov, Perm regions as well as in Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Komi republics.
