Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation: Alexey Besprozvannykh and the Governor of Pskov region discussed another stage of the project “Moglino-2” development

November 30, Moscow. – The Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexey Besprozvannykh held the working meeting with the Governor of Pskov region Mikhail Vedernikov. Within the framework of the meeting parties discussed the process of the zone “Moglino-2” infrastructure development. The zone will become one of the most important investment points of the region in within the framework of the Individual program of social and economic development.

Today the project of power supply is in process of implementation on the second stage territory of SEZ “Moglino”. It covers the anchor resident “Pskovsky Zavod “Titan-Polymer” LLC requirements for the implementation of two stages of import-substitution manufacturing of PET-granule and BOPET-films. The PET production capacity must be up to 210 ths. t/year, and BOPET-films – up to 72 ths. t/year.

“In 2020 within framework of IPSED (Individual program of social and economic development) more than 900 million rubles were allocated for the infrastructure preparation of the second stage site of the SEZ “Moglino”. Also, 3 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of measures to create infrastructure facilities "Moglino-2" until 2024. We count on creation of the more pleasure investment climate in the region for the increase of economic rates of the region and, as a result, the local population welfare,” Alexey Besprozvannykh commented.

Construction and installation works connected with power supply networks and structures, water supply and sewerage networks, communication networks, gas supply and gas distribution networks are in process on the second stage site of SEZ “Moglino” today. It is necessary in order to ensure the timely connection of the anchor resident of the SEZ - “Titan-Polymer” LLC to all important infrastructure.

The technology is unique for Russia and one of the most power efficient. It is characterized by low raw material consumption, flexibility and ease of maintenance, and requires minimal floor space.

The project will be implemented until 2023. It is planned to invest 19 billion rubles in it and create more than 500 new work places (and more than 2500 on related industries). Potential market outlets of the PET and BOPET-films are not only regions of Russia, but also CIS countries, West and East Europe.

Today the implementation of the first stage of the “Titan-Polymer” LLC project (the construction of BOPET-films manufacturing plant) is in process.
