Chemical complex of Russia: NZSM LLC manufactured a test batch of "arctic" additive for drilling fluids

It is transmitted in the company message that Novocherkassk Lubricant Production Plant LLC (a part of “Titan” CG) supplied the pilot batch of a lubricant additive for drilling fluids to a consumer in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

Lubricant additive was developed by NZSM specialists on the basis of mineral oil mixed with surface active substances and wear-resistant additives. It has a low freezing temperature which allows it to be used in the northern regions of the country.

The product will be tested by one of the largest Russian oil companies. A batch of 10 tons has already been  delivered to the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District in early December. “Within three months of pilot testing, the additive will have to confirm the declared properties. In case of receiving a positive review from the consumer, the plant will start production in industrial batches”, — noted in the message.

NZSM launched production and sales process of another “arctic” product for the mining industry in 2018 and  this process liquid has better environmental attributes and designed for hydrocarbon-based solutions.

In total the enterprise has completed the output of more than 100 products from October 2017 to June 2019.

Let us remind you that the new enterprise  of “Titan” GC is based in Novocherkassk and it produces a wide range of lubricants for various industries under the “Titan” trademark. The plant's capacities are designed to produce 18 thousand tons of products of which 12 thousand tons are lubricants. Currently “Titan” GC joins "Omsky kauchuk" AO, "Poliom" LLC (JV with SIBUR and "Gazprom Neft"), "Titan-Agro" LLC and a number of other agro-industrial, transport and construction assets.
