Omsk manufacturer became the Exporter of the Year

The Head of AO GC Titan Mikhail Sutyaginsky became the winner of the all-Russian annual competition “People of Business” in the “Exporter of the Year” category.

The summarizing ceremony of the III annual all-Russia competition “People of Business” was in Moscow on 26^th of May within frames of the business-association “Delovaya Rossiya” convent on the occasion of the Russian Businessmen Day. The award was given ceremoniously to the 21st winner of the Federal competition “People of Business” of 2020.

About 300 notifications from 40 regions of Russia were accepted. The best of the best were decided in seven categories: “Person of the Year”, “Industrial driver”, “Exporter of the Year”, “Breakthrough of the Year”, “Business lady”, “Young business” and “Good Deed”. The award winners became representatives of such companies as GC “EJS”, RUSSIAN PEAT COMPANY, and “Status” LLC, Advance Capital, ZENDEN Group etc.

Mikhail Sutyaginsky, the Head of AO GC Titan, the member of the “Delovaya Rossiya” Coordination Council, and chemical industry committee chairman became the winner in the category “Exporter of the Year”. We should note that AO GC Titan produces more than 500 thousand tons of products per year, some of which are exported to more than 40 countries – CIS, Eastern Europe, Middle East, East and South Asia, South America. Despite difficult economic factors connected with the COVID-19 pandemic, AO GC Titan could triple the export of the synthetic rubbers volume and restore phenol and acetone export.

Winners and и contestants were personally congratulated by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov. We should remind that he supervises not only national projects, finances, external trade, but also issues connected with the incest policy including small and medium businesses support measures.

Mikhail Sutyaginsky told how the company could achieve such products export results on the convent. In spring 2020 AO GC Titan entered the list of the country, made by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation within frames of the “Chemical industry” sector. Thanks to effective government support measures for systemic companies in the export and operational sector, the position of business during the pandemic remained stable.
