AO GC Titan employee became the honors student of the President's program

In July 2021 the defense of graduation projects of participants of President’s Management Training Program 2020/2021 took place in the Business Education Center of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education Omsk State University named in honor of F.M. Dostoevsky. Alexander Ekman, the AO “Omsky kauchuk” plant representative, received an excellent mark.

AO GC Titan employees have been trained as a part of the management training program since 2007. For 14 years, more than fifty of them have become “presidents”.

This year Alexander Ekman, the Deputy Head of the cumene and alpha-methyl-styrene production shop of AO “Omsky kauchuk” plant, graduated the program after the tough competitive selection. It was on-the-job training. The project defended by Alexander is concerned the introduction of eco-oriented cumene production on zeolite catalysts and performed on the basis of the AO “Omsky kauchuk” plant. On July 15 he presented the project to commission, which rated it as “excellent”.

“Management, staff management, the enterprise development management, marketing, all these disciplines were taught by specialists with a big practice experience.” Alexander Ekman shared his impressions “I have faced many situations before, I managed people, but what is important is that during the training I learned various methods and secrets, which embedded into the mind picture and made knowledge more complete and specific.”

The graduation ceremony will take place in autumn.

We should note that AO GC Titan employees, who graduated the program enters the candidates to fill managerial positions. A lot of them had already succeeded in their career and hold key positions in the company. So the successful top-managers of the AO GC Titan, who graduated the training from a petrochemical enterprise are the Deputy General Director of AO GC Titan Olga Tarasenko and the Chief Engineer of AO “Omsky kauchuk” Sergey Ivanilov. They were participants in 2007/2008 and 2012/2013.

President’s Management Training Program for organizations of the national economy is the state professional development program for managers and directors. It have been implementing in Russia from 1998. It has been implementing in Omsk region from the same time. The program purpose is the management quality development at domestic enterprises to international level. Within frames managers take a year-long training course in economics and management and defend the graduating project.
