A regular magazine issue is entirely devoted to women. The AO “Omsky kauchuk” senior storekeeper of the polymerization workshop Zoya Mitko became one of the heroines.

The Esquire editors presented a generalized character of a modern Russian woman. The magazine reporters conducted a series of interviews in each settlement along the way of the train “Russia” (Moscow – Vladivostok).

Students, programmers, fitness trainers, housewives, heads of cultural institutions, train hosts, workers of industrial enterprises form Moscow, Kirov, Perm, Novosibirsk, Chita and other cities were interviewed.

It was the chief editor of the publication, the well-known writer Sergei Minaev, who decided which interview would be included in the issue.

Only one of four texts written about Omsk women was included – a sincere conversation with the employee of the AO “Omsky kauchuk”, recorded by a freelance reporter Sofia Chekmeneva.

“A young woman called me and who introduced herself as a reporter of a well-known magazine and offered to communicate,” Zoya Mitko said. – She found me in our union of plant activists. She was interested since I was an employee at a petrochemical enterprise and a person having an active life position. I saw the final version of the interview after the issue had been published. Everything is correct, taking into account the issue’s general concept and literary processing.”
