Baikal 24: Khotsenko and Manturov launched the chemical production in Omsk

On Thursday, June, 29, “Omsky kauchuk” launched the upgraded production for the technical butane processing and gave the green light for the construction of polyisobutylene production in Omsk.

Acting Governor of Omsk region, Vitaly Khotsenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AO GC Titan, Mikhail Sutyaginsky, participated in the ceremonial events. The head of the region announced this in his telegram channel.

Both projects are important for the region as one of the domestic petrochemical centers, and for the whole country as a whole.

- The projects are aimed at import substitution and contribute to strengthening Russian technological sovereignty, - Vitaly Khotsenko said.

He also added, this task had been set by the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
