“Titan-Agro” Ltd. achieved records for output and shipment of products

From January to September 2020, the feed mill “Pushkinsky” (Separate Subdivision of “Titan-Agro” Ltd) showed the best result in the production and sale of products over the same period in the entire history of the enterprise.

Compared with the results of work for 9 months of last year, the enterprise increased its production volume by 12.6%, and the volumes of the third-party sales through main sales channels immediately increased by 53%. Such figures are record for the five years of the feed mill existence. A part of this production is used by the “Titan-Agro” Ltd. for own needs: feeds are delivered to the Pig-breeding complex “Petrovsky” from the feed mill “Pushkinsky”. The third-party clients usually buy feeds for the poultry.

The feed mill “Pushkinsky” manufacturing and sale growth connected with increased demand for combined feeds from the side of external clients. The demand is conditioned by the consistent work to promote the brand in Omsk and other markets, accompanied by scientific research.

Feed mill “Pushkinsky” uses scientific attitude to guarantee a required result to its clients (livestock safety, weight gain and conversion - the ratio of weight gain to the amount of feed consumed). During last three years the feed mill “Pushkinsky” together with the Veterinary Institute of Omsk State Agricultural University named after P.A. Stolypin carries out experiments to optimize some feed formulations for the regional specific features and requirements of owners of private farms.

“In accordance with the results of research of 2019 we increased protein content in the starter compound feed PK 5-1. We have proven empirically that it helps to young birds to gain weight faster during first weeks of life, – explained specialists from feed mill “Pushkinsky”. – The work made in 2020 allowed to increase volumes of corn in combined feeds, which is reach in digestible protein, and soon the size of granules will be changed in some feed formulations”.

Such scientific data is serious argument at presentation of feed mill “Pushkinsky” production to the potential partners. As the Head of Combined Feed Sales Department Maxim Starshov said that it was one of the reasons for the increased number of bulk customers in Omsk region in 2020. Shipments go to the cities of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous district, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk region, Orenburg, Kurgan, Chelyabinsk, as well as to Ufa. Growth can be seen in the retail segment as well.

Thanks to the right decisions of the directorship of “Titan-Agro” Ltd. and Group of companies Titan during the first wave of coronavirus pandemic the enterprise continued to work and could operatively serve high seasonal demand. Retail outlets worked, the pace and rhythm of deliveries were observed.

In autumn period demand damped, but both in October and November the feed mill “Pushkinsky” check the raised number of shipments on 10-15% compared with the same situation in 2019.

As a reminder, the plant is part of the Agrobiotechnological industrial cluster of the Omsk region as a part of “Titan-Agro” Ltd.
