Specialists of Omsk State Agricultural University tested quality and efficiency of compound feed for broiler chicken of the feed mill «Pushkinsky» («Titan-Agro» LLC).
Definition of optimal formula for broiler chicks taking into account regional specificity and needs of private farmers was the subject of the research and development work. The experiment was the first stage of a series of studies. The experiment was carried out at the facilities of Omsk State Agricultural University on broiler chicks ROSS 308.
According to the study data products of the agricultural enterprise facilitate fast gain of poultry's weight. Thus, by the end of the first week of life, chicks' weight was by a third higher than average weight of chicks consuming customary feed — feed mixes or simple starter feeds with low content of amino acids and protein.
It should be noted that compound feed PK-5 with high content of energy and protein was used for feeding of the poultry during the first 28 days of life. The feed favors proper formation of bone tissue and muscles of poultry and improves immunity. The compound feed contains grain feed, vegetable oil, mineral and vitamin additives. It should be added that used compound feed was manufactured in compliance with GOST 18221-99 «Complete feed for poultry».
