AO GC Titan attracted Russian partners within the frames of the investment project

The AO Group of companies Titan signed more than 300 Agreements with Russian companies under the implementation of cumene production renovation with the isopropyl alcohol production unit at the Omsky kauchuk plant.

The project has allowed providing new orders for Russian construction and installation contractors and domestic equipment manufacturers.

Currently, over 320 people from 13 subcontract organizations are employed on site. About a quarter of workers are from the Republic of Bashkortostan and a small share is electricians from the Republic of Tatarstan. The great majority of specialists are employees of Omsk subcontract organizations.

The to-do-list assigned to subcontractors within a framework of participation in the project from the beginning of its implementation includes concrete, general construction and finishing works, installation of technological equipment and steel structures, electrical work, including installation of power equipment, laying of external and internal electrical power systems, thermal electrical device; anti-corrosion treatment and thermal insulation of equipment and pipelines, hydraulic testing of vessels and apparatuses etc.

Own divisions of Omsky kauchuk plant are involved in the dismantling of structures and equipment, improvement of site, installation and set-ups of electrical and instrumentation equipment, renovation of infrastructure elements, laying of water supply lines, and the installation of the longest technological pipeline.

The majority (about 70%) of the project processing equipment is produced in Russia. “The first units of the project processing equipment arrived at the Omsk site in April 2019; the suppliers of AO Group of companies Titan were selected through tender procedures,” - said project manager Alexander Gross. – “Heat exchangers, columns, tanks and some compressors are manufactured by the leading mechanical engineering enterprises in Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Penza, Saratov, Izhevsk and other cities. There are Omsk companies among partners too; in particular, Omsk residents have supplied ventilating equipment”. Fittings, including gate valves, valves, taps, pipeline parts, instrumentation and cabling and wiring products are also produced by domestic companies.

The volume of investments in the cumene renovation project with an isopropyl alcohol production unit is about 4.6 billion rubles.
